Why Are Donald Burney's Teachings Secret?

This is the warning on Donald Burney's "Behind The Wall" essays. He is very secretive, but why? Why is he afraid of proclaiming his teachings to all? Well, lets examine that question. In order to properly examine Burney's fear of his teachings being publicly exposed we will need to identify what his teachings are.

In future posts, we will attempt to identify many if not all of Donald Burney's teachings. Please be aware however that because Burney is very secretive about his teachings and has numerous levels of teachings; each more secret than the last, we may never be able to identify all of his teachings. Clearly, if Burney were to expose his teachings to full public scrutiny rather than hide them "Behind The Wall" he would be unable to gain any significant number of cult members.
As you can see already from what we know about Burney's "New Law of Divorce" which he claims to have enacted on Oct. 19, 2003; His teachings are bound to be shocking and we can see the damage he has already done to his current followers and their families. So brace yourselves for some shocking revelations about the man from Alabama who thinks he is so important that he claims to have actually replaced Jesus Christ and the New Covenant which was inagurated by Jesus Christ's shed blood.
Keep this in mind as you examine the teachings of this would be Grand Poobah of Jehovah's people; Jesus Christ cannot be replaced nor can the unfaithfulness of mere men destroy the Everlasting New Covenant which Jesus Christ shed his life's blood for. Just as the scripture says in Hebrews 7:18 Certainly, then, there occurs a setting aside of the preceding commandment on account of its weakness and ineffectiveness. 19 For the Law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in besides of a better hope did, through which we are drawing near to God. 20 Also, to the extent that it was not without a sworn oath, 21 (for there are indeed men that have become priests without a sworn oath, but there is one with an oath sworn by the One who said respecting him: "Jehovah has sworn (and he will feel no regret), ‘You are a priest forever,’") 22 to that extent also Jesus has become the one given in pledge of a better covenant. 23 Furthermore, many had to become priests [in succession] because of being prevented by death from continuing as such, 24 but he because of continuing alive forever has his priesthood without any successors. 25 Consequently he is able also to save completely those who are approaching God through him, because he is always alive to plead for them. 26 For such a high priest as this was suitable for us, loyal, guileless, undefiled, separated from the sinners, and become higher than the heavens. 27 He does not need daily, as those high priests do, to offer up sacrifices, first for his own sins and then for those of the people: (for this he did once for all time when he offered himself up;) 28 for the Law appoints men high priests having weakness, but the word of the sworn oath that came after the Law appoints a Son, who is perfected forever.
So this would be replacement for Jesus Christ rises to levels of presumptuousness that are unheard of. Jesus Christ warned of false Christs like Burney arriving in the last days. Here is what he said at Matt 24:4 And in answer Jesus said to them: "Look out that nobody misleads YOU; 5 for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. ....................................23 "Then if anyone says to YOU, ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’ or, ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will give great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones. 25 Look! I have forewarned YOU. 26 Therefore, if people say to YOU, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; ‘Look! He is in the inner chambers,’ do not believe it.

So then we see that Burney is just a new wrinkle in an old story; False Christ with a new angle. We need to be very careful about men like Burney because he has an approach which is designed to beguile Jehovah's Witnesses. If he is a former circuit overseer as is being reported, and was anointed before becoming apostate; then he could be a very dangerous man, having the potential to mislead even some of the chosen ones if possible.
So lets investigate further what his teachings and claims are.
